This role is suited for those with critical care and cardiac experience, offering the opportunity to deliver care across a range of patient ages and conditions.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments from pediatric to geriatric stages
• Demonstrate competent clinical skills and provide direct patient care
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation in patient charts
• Respond professionally to patient and family inquiries to ensure satisfaction
• Follow National Patient Safety Goals and safe transfer techniques
• Handle unit-specific functions, including individualizing care for surgical patients
• Assume responsibility for pre-operative and postoperative education
• Support timely completion of patient testing and evaluate Pre Admission Testing orders

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED

• 1 year experience in Critical Care/Cardiac or Emergency Department
• BLS Certification
• RN License
• ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification (required for pediatric ER)
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
