SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Hiring Service Technician / Mechanic Experience with truck‑mounted hydraulic utility equipment such as aerial devices, digger derricks, cranes; construction, mining, farm equipment. Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with overtime as needed. Job Duties Assess, diagnose, repair and/or replace damaged or worn parts on a variety of vocational/utility trucks & equipment. Provide repair and maintenance to medium/heavy‑duty trucks, with a background in hydraulics and electrical considered an advantage. Ensure quality standards by assessing, diagnosing, repairing, and replacing parts from various manufacturers of utility equipment. Prepare and maintain accurate records of parts, services, and labor to track costs so vehicles can be properly priced and reflect the value of quality offered by the company. Submit all work/repair orders to a supervisor for approval to ensure budgets are maintained and costs are accurately reflected. Perform all duties in accordance with best practices for a safe work environment. Attend monthly safety meetings held by Custom Truck One Source. Other duties as assigned. Basic Skills High school diploma or the equivalent. Experience with diesel, medium or heavy truck, or related equipment (construction, farm, military). General mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, construction, farm or truck systems. Basic computer skills and ability to document repair activity. Preferred Skills Vocational Technical School or Military Wheeled Mechanic or related training (preferred). Three or more years of maintenance and repair of utility trucks and equipment. Must hold a valid driver’s license. Must have your own tools. Requirements Must hold a valid driver’s license. Must have your own tools.
