Schedule: 4 Days per Week | 10-Hour Shifts

Best Driver Solutions is seeking a dependable and professional Class A CDL Driver for a temp-to-hire opportunity with one of our valued clients. This position is ideal for an experienced driver who is safety-focused, adaptable, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.

• 2020 Kenworth (Manual Transmission)
• 2019 Peterbilt (Manual Transmission)
• 48' Conestoga Curtain Side with Rolling Tarp
• 48' Flatbed
• 53' Dry Van
Job Responsibilities
• Safely transport construction materials and general freight throughout Northern California.
• Complete 1-2 delivery stops per route.
• Local deliveries with occasional out-of-town runs.
• Drivers are generally not responsible for loading or unloading freight.
• Driver assistance may occasionally be required on out-of-town deliveries using a hand truck/dolly or liftgate.
• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately and submit it daily.
• Maintain a professional attitude and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.

Schedule
• Four (4) 10-hour shifts per week
• Typical start time: 7:30 AM
• Start times may occasionally range between 3:00 AM and 8:00 AM
• Occasional overnight trips in a sleeper truck (Per Diem provided)
Requirements
• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum of 1 year of recent verifiable Class A driving experience
• Experience operating manual transmission trucks is required
• Experience with flatbeds and Conestoga trailers preferred
• Comfortable driving throughout San Francisco, the Bay Area, and Silicon Valley
• Strong work ethic with the ability to think independently and solve problems in the field
• Maintain accurate paperwork and documentation daily
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
Security Clearance Requirement
Some deliveries are made to military installations and Sheriff's Department facilities. Drivers must be able to successfully pass extensive background checks. Candidates should have a clean background and be eligible to access secure facilities.
