divh2Forklift Operator/h2pEssential Functions/Key Deliverables/pulliInspect the technical condition of the Forklift and other handling equipment before starting work to determine the need for repairs to safely operate machinery./liliRecord pre-use checks in the provided system or the vehicle logbook as required./liliReport any faults and/or breakdowns of the Forklift Lead./liliCheck the delivered quantities and condition of the goods recording data on the receiving form accurately./liliUnload goods, packaging, raw materials and other from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places using FLT./liliComplete orders for distribution, work to quality standards and provided instructions./liliEnsure each product pallet is secured for transit and labelled correctly./liliLoad goods or other materials onto the truck for transportation in accordance with work security regulations/instructions using forklift./liliMove stock/goods using forklift throughout the warehouse according to instructions./liliUse the SAP RFID scanning system equipment correctly following set orders and assigned tasks to ensure accuracy of inventory. Coordinate to ensure RF monitors are in good working order./liliTransport materials to the production department complying with FIFO procedures./liliOperate low-lift pallet truck whenever there is a need for loading e.g. sea containers./liliClean fork-Lift-Trucks and other handling equipment in accordance with ISO and BRC standards./liliResponsible for general warehouse duties when the forklift is not required. This will include general housekeeping, etc. within the warehouse and surrounding grounds./liliSelect /sort packaging materials when required and assist with stock take./liliAssist with the implementation and maintenance of CP systems, including performing internal audits as required./liliSafely exchange fork truck gas cylinders, refill fuel tank, or replace, re-charge batteries (whichever applies)./liliMust adhere to all plant GMP and BRC requirements./liliPerform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role./li/ulpKnowledge/Skills/Experience/pulliEngineering or Technical Degree preferred./liliMust have 2 or more years forklift experience - preferred propane, gas, or diesel experience./liliAbility to operate a forklift is required./liliAbility to read and write English./liliAbility to perform basic math functions./liliA basic working knowledge of computer systems, Microsoft Office, SAP./liliAbility to function both independently and as part of a team; must be flexible and excited to grow with the organization./li/ulpCANPACK Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law or not related to job requirements, unless such distinction is required by law./p/div
