Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an Optometrist for a community focused outpatient setting. This role offers strong collaboration with primary care providers, clinical autonomy, and the opportunity to serve rural populations across Northern Maine.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Optometrist provides comprehensive eye care services including routine exams, diagnosis, and treatment of ocular conditions. This role collaborates closely with primary care providers as part of an integrated care team while maintaining independence in clinical decision making.

SCHEDULE
• Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
• 4 day work week available
• No call
• No weekends

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary based on experience
• Bonus opportunities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide comprehensive eye exams and vision care
• Diagnose and treat ocular conditions and diseases
• Prescribe corrective lenses and treatment plans
• Provide emergency eye care as needed
• Collaborate with primary care and interdisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

REQUIREMENTS
• Graduate of an accredited school of optometry
• Active Maine Optometrist license or ability to obtain
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in rural or community based care preferred
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Commitment to patient centered care
