Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or in a classroom support role preferred
• Familiarity with the needs of diverse student populations
• Ability to assist with individualized and small-group instruction
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine interest in student success
• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary coursework or paraprofessional certification a plus

Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to reinforce lessons and provide targeted assistance
• Support classroom management efforts and create an inclusive, supportive environment
• Implement teacher-planned activities and follow individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and supervision during activities and transitions
• Document student progress and communicate observations to teaching staff
• Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
