Service Manager

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) operates more than 2,200 company‑owned auto‑repair stores across North America, serving a broad customer base with tire and auto‑service sales. Position Summary Combining deep automotive repair knowledge with strong people skills, the Service Manager will manage customer relationships, serve as a primary point of contact, and lead, coach, and supervise vehicle technicians while supporting parts and equipment procurement. Pay Range USD 22.66 – 33.99 per hour. Responsibilities Assign and schedule work for auto‑service staff based on skill level. Serve all automotive service needs of customers. Hire, train, and develop an effective auto‑service team. Maintain high teammate retention and compliance with quality standards. Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention through proactive communication and issue resolution. Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns. Manage business operations, including paperwork, customer interactions, financial transactions, and adherence to company policies. Drive sales through proactive customer interactions, vehicle inspections, and product/service recommendations. Provide insight to front‑of‑shop staff to optimize revenue generation. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. At least 4 years of auto‑service technical experience. At least 1 year of service manager or service writer experience. Strong problem‑solving skills for customer complaints. Ability to manage inventory, scheduling, and equipment maintenance. Capacity to lead and coach others. Excellent communication skills with teammates and customers. Successful recruitment and selection of technicians according to store requirements. Willingness to pursue ongoing education and stay current in automotive repair issues. Valid automotive driver’s license to test‑drive customer vehicles.
