Maintenance Technician -DIRECT HIRE

We're currently seeking two hands-on, self-motivated Mechanical Maintenance Technician and Electrical Maintenance Technician for a Direct Hire opportunity with a growing, employee-focused manufacturing organization.

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in keeping facilities, production equipment, and operations running safely and efficiently across multiple branch locations.

Location: Fort Mill, SC Hours: 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri Pay: $28-38/hr Dep on experience Travel: 15-30%

In this role, you will:

• Travel independently to branch locations as needed to support maintenance needs
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment and facility systems
• Service three-roll mills, mixers, HVAC systems, chillers, pumps, motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and plumbing systems
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facility-related issues
• Fabricate, modify, and assemble mechanical components as needed
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics, and work orders
• Use diagnostic meters, hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment safely and effectively
• Initiate corrective actions and continuous improvement opportunities
• Maintain organized tools, workspaces, and maintenance records
• Support compliance with GMP, Quality Management Systems, and safety standards

What You Bring:

• Minimum 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (5+ years strongly preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on repair experience
• Experience with motors, pumps, plumbing, HVAC, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Strong fabrication/welding experience
• Electrical troubleshooting experience preferred
• Experience with VFDs and PLCs is a strong plus
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and technical documentation
• Associate degree or equivalent technical experience preferred
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record
• Comfortable traveling to branch locations, sometimes on short notice
• Basic computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office)
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement is a plus.
