Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 3+ years of independent scanning experience and NY state licensure with injection privileges.

Details

• Work in the MRI department of a 450-bed hospital
• Perform routine MRI exams on inpatient, ICU, and ER patients
• Use 3T Siemens Skyra and 1.5T Siemens Symphony scanners
• Not responsible for breast, cardiac, or prostate MRI exams
• Utilizes Epic EMR
• Monday through Friday schedule, preferred shift 5:00 PM-1:00 AM or 4:00 PM-12:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of MRI experience with ability to scan independently
• ARRT certification preferred or ARMRIT certification accepted
• Current BLS certification required
• Valid NY state license with injection privileges
• License required if applicable
• Current COVID vaccination card required for consideration
• Professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for performing routine MRI scans on a variety of inpatient and emergency patient populations
