Ryder is Now Hiring Local CDL-B Truck Drivers in Portland, ME Earn $1,010+ per Week - $1,000 Sign-On Bonus - Get Home Daily
Pay, Home Time & More:- Earn $1,010+ per week
- Earn $23.50 per hour
- Hours per week: 40-45 hours
- Sign-on bonus: $500 paid at 30 days and $500 paid at 90 days
- Route: Local, get home daily
- Paid training
- Paid weekly
- Schedule: 5-day work week - off Sunday and 1 day during the week
- Start Time: 9:00 PM
- Deliver solo to: Maine
- Tractor type: Box Truck 16' and 26'
- Equipment: Manual Pallet Jack
- Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful
- Freight: Touch - newspaper
- Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days
- 80 hours PTO your first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid for it)
- Uniforms, cell phone & boot allowance provided
- Drivers are the Captain — you make safety decisions, and your job is protected
- 401(k) rollover available now + company match at 1 year
- 12 weeks paid maternity leave (subject to specific eligibility criteria, including work tenure)

- Trucks are 36 months or newer and include 24/7 roadside maintenance support. Drivers can fuel up at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide
- Valid Class A or B CDL
- 9 months of driving experience within the past 3 years
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder drug test
- Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test
