General Statement of Responsibilities: 

The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. This position is responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized in accordance with health and safety standards. The Dishwasher also assists with basic food preparation, trash removal, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas to support an excellent dining experience for residents and guests of The Heritage Steakhouse. 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing machines or by hand as required. 
• Ensures all cleaned items are properly sanitized, dried, and stored in designated areas. 
• Keeps dishwashing area clean, organized, and free of hazards, maintaining compliance with health and safety standards. 
• Assists in cleaning kitchen equipment, floors, counters, and storage areas at the end of each shift. 
• Empties trash and recyclables and ensures proper waste disposal following community and state regulations. 
• Monitors and restocks cleaning supplies as needed and reports low inventory to supervisor. 
• Assists with food preparation duties as assigned by the Cook or Dining Services Director. 
• Follows all infection control and sanitation procedures, including proper use of PPE and handwashing techniques. 
• Adheres to all Lantern Crest Senior Living policies and procedures, including safety and emergency guidelines. 
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and maintains professional communication with coworkers, residents, and guests. 
• Promote Team work through cooperative and respectful interactions with co-workers and other departments.
