Job Description As a Security Officer Access Management in Salt Lake City, UT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, screen visitors and deliveries, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, delivery-yard concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location, verify authorized personnel and visitors as directed, and document security-related observations, incidents, and irregularities. Support the orderly flow of employees, drivers, vendors, and deliveries while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced logistics environment. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. X-Ray screening experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
