About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, HWC Must-Have: Basic EKG interpretation Two or more years in Medical Surgical Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in a Medical Surgical setting. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Common diagnoses and treatments include pneumonia, rule-out chest pain, CHF, COPD, post-operative hip, shoulder, TURP, and general surgeries. The nurse will be responsible for patient care, assessment, and management. Supervisory support will be provided. The unit consists of 31 beds with a patient ratio of 1:5. Equipment used includes SCDs, IV pumps, and EHR is EPIC. Candidates must possess required certifications and demonstrate necessary skills for the role. Dress code consists of scrubs in gray, black, or blue. No unacceptable attire is specified. This position is a replacement for permanent staff.
