Technical RecruiterRFA Engineering is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Technical Recruiter to support the growth of our engineering teams across the US. This role will focus on identifying, attracting, interviewing and hiring top engineering and technical talent across a variety of industries and disciplines. This would be a hybrid position based out of our corporate offices in either Eden Prairie, MN or Dubuque, IA.As a Technical Recruiter you will focus on identifying, attracting, interviewing and hiring top engineering and technical talent across a variety of industries and disciplines. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys building relationships, understands technical roles, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with hiring managers, engineering leaders, and candidates while playing a key role in supporting company growth.ResponsibilitiesSource, recruit, and screen engineering and technical candidates for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire opportunitiesManage the full recruiting lifecycle including sourcing, interviewing, scheduling, offer coordination, and onboarding supportPartner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, technical skill requirements, and team cultureBuild and maintain candidate pipelines through LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, referrals, and direct outreachConduct phone screens and initial candidate evaluationsCoordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teamsMaintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within applicant tracking systems and internal databasesDevelop and post job descriptions across recruiting platformsSupport recruiting events, career fairs, university outreach, and networking activitiesBuild strong relationships with candidates to ensure a positive recruiting experienceAssist with recruiting process improvements and talent acquisition strategiesCollaborate with internal teams on workforce planning and staffing prioritiesQualificationsBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent recruiting experience2+ years of recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition experience preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple open positions and priorities simultaneouslyExperience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, and networkingStrong organizational skills and attention to detailSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaborativelyProficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and ExcelPreferred QualificationsExperience recruiting for engineering, manufacturing, software, or technical positionsFamiliarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting toolsExperience working in a staffing agency or technical recruiting environmentUnderstanding of engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, or systems engineeringExperience supporting campus recruiting or recruiting eventsVisa sponsorship is NOT available for this position.
