Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialty pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a per diem role in the Zanesville, OH area. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient care by accurately dispensing medications and providing important medication counseling within a supportive healthcare environment.

Schedule:
- Wednesday, August 26, 2026: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday, September 18, 2026: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately distribute medications prescribed by physicians and other authorized healthcare practitioners.
- Provide detailed information and counseling to customers regarding the proper use, potential side effects, and storage of medications.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to meet patient and healthcare provider needs.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Ohio Pharmacist License.
- Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care pharmacy settings is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient education and service.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
This per diem opportunity allows for flexible scheduling and is ideal for pharmacists seeking supplementary hours within a specialty pharmacy setting. The contract is currently signed and ready for immediate consideration.
