Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical ICU (Night Shift)

ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical ICU (Night Shift) in Tyler, Texas.

Location: Tyler, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift: Night Shift: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00).

Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical ICU will care for adults and geriatric patients, managing complex cases in a critical care setting. This position requires proficiency in Epic for charting and familiarity with a variety of procedures and patient management protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients in the Medical-Surgical ICU.
• Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols.
• Prepare for and assist with diagnostic procedures and interventions.
• Manage ventilated patients and perform interventions as necessary.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures.

Required Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.
• Travel experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure:

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• NIHSS and PALS certifications are preferred.
• A valid state or compact nursing license must be in hand at the time of submittal.
