Based in Atlanta, GA (Hybrid), we are a well-established public accounting firm known for its client-focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results. The firm is expanding and seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join a growing team handling sophisticated tax compliance and advisory matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional who values technical depth client relationships and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on a full spectrum of individual partnership corporate and trust and estate tax services while developing and strengthening client relationships across the firm's tax practice
Review and oversee tax compliance engagements ensuring quality control procedures are followed and keeping partners informed of progress with recommended solutions for timely action
Develop and implement tax planning strategies for businesses and high net worth individuals including multi-state and consolidated tax returns with accuracy and efficiency
Supervise mentor and evaluate Staff and Senior Associates while staying current on tax law changes and emerging industry issues to provide clients with in-depth technical guidance

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required with active CPA license; Master of Tax preferred
7+ years of experience in public accounting with demonstrated proficiency in C and S corporation partnership individual and trust and estate taxation
Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously with strong research skills and experience building visibility through networking and client responsiveness
