Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced ICU RN to provide specialized critical care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The candidate will deliver high-quality patient care, monitor critically ill patients, and collaborate with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and team members to coordinate care.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record.
• Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active PA or Compact nursing license.
• Possess at least 1 year of ICU experience.
• Maintain current AHA certifications, including BLS and ACLS.
• Demonstrate proficiency with electronic medical records, preferably Cerner.
• Be willing to float within hospital departments and across sister facilities within a 10-mile radius.
• Successfully complete fingerprinting, drug screening, and other compliance requirements within 24-48 hours of signing.
