Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced ICU RN to provide specialized critical care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The candidate will deliver high-quality patient care, monitor critically ill patients, and collaborate with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per hospital protocols.
Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes in status.
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and team members to coordinate care.
Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record.
Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications:

Hold an active PA or Compact nursing license.
Possess at least 1 year of ICU experience.
Maintain current AHA certifications, including BLS and ACLS.
Demonstrate proficiency with electronic medical records, preferably Cerner.
Be willing to float within hospital departments and across sister facilities within a 10-mile radius.
Successfully complete fingerprinting, drug screening, and other compliance requirements within 24-48 hours of signing.
