About the Role

As a Dietary Aide, you will assist with meal preparation, serving, and kitchen operations to ensure residents, patients, and guests receive nutritious and delicious meals in a clean and welcoming environment. Your role is vital in supporting their well-being and dignity every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in serving meals and beverages to residents, patients, and guests with efficiency and care.

• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining area, following all sanitation and safety guidelines.

• Deliver and retrieve food carts, plates, and utensils in a timely and respectful manner.

• Monitor food inventory levels and report supply needs to the Head Cook or Director.

• Attend regular trainings to stay updated on dietary requirements and facility procedures.

• Support the dietary team in meal preparation, plating, and kitchen organization as needed.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous food service experience preferred, but not required – we are willing to train the right candidate.

• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

• Knowledge of proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, to meet resident needs.
