About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in CVOR required, pediatric CVOR preferred License: Active California RN License required Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have: CVOR experience required; pediatric CVOR experience preferred for all pediatric cardiac cases Description: Pediatric CVOR position available for day shifts. Schedule includes 3 shifts per week from 06:30 to 19:00. Candidates must have CVOR experience, with preference given to those with pediatric CVOR experience. Certifications required include BLS and PALS. Candidates should be prepared to manage congenital heart conditions and other cardiac surgeries. General OR patient care responsibilities will also be required. The position involves a rotational call schedule evenly divided among team members with 1-2 weekends scheduled per month. Travel experience is required. The role includes expectations for floating to main OR as needed. Must be willing to manage a variety of cases, including arterial switch operations, ASD/VSD repairs, and other pediatric cardiovascular surgeries. Additional competencies desired include monitoring for conscious sedation and experience with ECMO insertion/decannulation. Candidates must acknowledge and agree to the outlined float and call requirements. References are required from previous supervisory-level employers.
