Radiologic Technologist Interventional / Cardiac Cath Lab

This full-time Radiologic Technologist Interventional / Cardiac Cath Lab role supports cardiologists and interventional physicians in a fast-paced cath lab setting. Candidates will perform diagnostic imaging, maintain sterile fields, and ensure patient safety during procedures. The position is located near Palm Springs, California.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
2. Scrub and circulate during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac and vascular procedures
3. Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
4. Prepare sterile fields, instruments, and supplies for procedures
5. Monitor patient status and maintain patient safety throughout procedures
6. Ensure proper radiation safety protocols are followed for staff and patients
7. Accurately document procedures, imaging data, and patient information
8. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and cath lab staff to maintain efficient workflow
9. Participate in equipment quality assurance and maintenance protocols
10. Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
• Active ARRT certification required
• Current California Radiologic Technologist license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience required
• At least 1 year of scrubbing experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional setting required

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in high-volume cardiac catheterization laboratories
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and interventional procedures
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced procedural environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to patient safety and radiation protection practices
