We partner with experts across the industry, guided by empathy and insight, to advance health for everyone.**The impact you’ll make in this role**As a Machinist, you’ll be responsible for supporting production operations, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient plant environment.This role works 2nd shift (Mon - Fri; 3:30pm - 11:30 pm) and includes starting pay of $31.17/hour plus shift $1.25 shift differential.*\*This role begins with training on 1st shift and transitions to 2nd shift once training is complete (estimated 3 - 6 months).*Responsibilities include but not limited to:* Setting up and operating machining lathes to produce Stethoscope chest pieces.* Performing adjustments, tool changes, and preventive maintenance to ensure proper operation.* Performing all required sampling, testing, and inspection to meet product requirements.* Gathering and monitoring data on the process to ensure process control.* Training and assisting department operators with running the lathes and inspecting chest pieces.* Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.**Required Qualifications:*** Experience operating CNC machines.* Possess a technical degree or higher in Tool & Die Technology **OR** Possess a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of five (5) years of experience working with Tool & Die.**Work Location:** Onsite - 5400 Paris Rd, Columbia, MO 65202**Travel:** Not required for this position**Relocation Assistance:** Not authorized**Legal & Compliance**Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.**Manufacturing Operations:**This position sits within Solventum’s Manufacturing Operations, specifically at one of our global production facilities, where our teams play a hands-on role in bringing life-changing healthcare solutions to life.
