Opening this Fall, Mottai Miami is a modern Japanese restaurant in the heart of Coral Gables.

We are seeking experienced and professional Hosts to join the front-of-house team of our upscale restaurant. This role requires warmth, poise, and exceptional attention to detail. You'll be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for the dining experience and working closely with management and the service team to ensure every interaction reflects the quality and standards of our brand.

Who We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a host or maître d' in an upscale or fine dining environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English
• Calm, organized, and gracious under pressure
• Ability to manage reservations and guest flow while maintaining a polished and welcoming demeanor
• Proficiency with reservation and POS systems
• Knowledge of Japanese cuisine or fine dining service standards preferred
• Formal hospitality training or certifications are a plus
• Working knowledge of Spanish or another language is a plus
