Delivery Driver / Assembly Associate (Part-Time)

Position Summary This position is responsible for delivering merchandise to customers safely and professionally, while also assisting with assembly of products such as grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, and other seasonal merchandise. This hands‑on role combines customer service, driving, and light mechanical assembly. Key Responsibilities Deliver merchandise to homes and businesses in a safe and timely manner Load, secure, and unload products carefully Assemble grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, and other products Review products before delivery to ensure quality and completeness Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and in‑store interactions Assist customers with carry‑outs and loading merchandise Help maintain a clean and organized backroom, delivery area, and sales floor Support store operations as needed during slower delivery periods Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs with assistance when needed Basic mechanical or assembly skills preferred Friendly, professional, and dependable Strong time‑management and communication skills Ability to work independently and stay productive Retail or delivery experience is a plus Schedule Part‑time hours with flexible scheduling Weekend availability is required Pay, Benefits, and Perks Fantastic employee discount Flexible schedule Great team environment Opportunity for additional hours during busy seasons Hahn Ace Hardware is a second‑generation, family‑owned and operated chain of local hardware stores serving the Delafield, Germantown, Hartford, Menomonee Falls/Butler, Mequon, Mukwonago, and Sussex communities.
