Production Technicians – $19/hr + Overtime

Anacortes, WA

HireQuest Direct Bellingham is hiring Production Technicians for an established food manufacturer in Anacortes.

This is a modern food-production and packaging facility — not traditional head-and-gut seafood processing.

Pay: $19.00/hour + overtime opportunity 
Schedule: Full-time hours with overtime opportunities
Pay Frequency: Weekly pay

What You'll Do

Depending on the assigned position, work may include:

• Production and packaging
• Weighing ingredients and finished products
• Operating and monitoring production equipment
• Inspecting products for quality
• Sorting, labeling, and preparing products for shipment
• Pallet jack and material-handling work
• General production and sanitation support

Previous seafood-processing or food-production experience is preferred, but not required. Training is provided.

Additional Experience Is a Plus

Do you have experience beyond general production? We'd like to hear about it! Experience in any of the following areas is a plus and may qualify applicants for additional opportunities:

• Food quality control or inspection
• GMP, HACCP, SQF, or other food-safety systems
• Shipping, receiving, or inventory control
• Warehouse or material handling
• Pallet jack or equipment operation
• Basic computer skills, including Word or Excel

• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures
• Maintain a steady pace in a production environment
• Follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team

Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including standing throughout the shift, performing repetitive work, lifting up to 50 lbs. when required, and working in areas that may be refrigerated, wet, noisy, or warm.

Multiple Openings Available

These positions offer potential for long-term employment and permanent placement with the client.

Selected candidates will be required to complete an on-site interview with the client prior to placement.
