Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool

Registered Nurse ICU

Night shifts available from 19:00 to 07:30, with 36 or 48-hour workweeks. Weekend and floating requirements apply, and no scheduling requests can be accommodated.

This is a float position within the ICU, which may require moving between various units as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• Active RN license in California
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• Experience in a facility with 400 beds or larger required
• Experience with PA Line and Swan Ganz necessary
• Flu vaccine required, no declinations accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in critical conditions.
• Monitor and assess patients' health status and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care.

Compliance / Notes

An EKG exam will be administered on the first day of orientation, and candidates must pass to continue with the contract. No RTO is allowed within the first two weeks of the assignment, and 3 out of 5 holidays must be worked.
