As we continue to innovate and grow, we're searching for a forward-thinking Software Engineer II to help us build the future of capital markets infrastructure.As a Software Engineer II you will:Utilize your expertise in low-level programming as we advance the state of the art in high performance computing and electronic tradingProvide the necessary guidance and hands-on delivery of the design, development, and debugging of C applications that run on multi-core Linux systems to process large amounts of high-throughput, low-latency network dataBe a key contributor to our process and team culture, continually iterating on how we build products, not just on what we buildCollaborate directly with customers that are using the products that you developRequired SkillsMS/BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related3+ years of relevant work experienceStrong C programming skillsLinux application development expertiseDemonstrated ability to work through complex engineering obstacles and proven success leading engineering teams to efficient and accurate solution to these problemsExperience defining test scenarios and test cases to ensure quality of team deliverablesPassionate about writing software that is clean, simple, and elegantProficiency with concurrency and multi-threaded architecturesExpertise with socket programming and TCPFamiliarity with scripting languages such as Python and ShellComfortable being onsite in Needham, MA 5 days a weekDesired Skills:Experience with C++ and JavaFinancial market knowledgeCompensation: In compliance with Massachusetts law, the anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $81,000 to $197,000. Please note that this range represents the expected base salary for this role at the time of posting. The final offer may vary based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
