The Opportunity

There’s something satisfying about a room that’s ready to welcome its next guest. As a Room Attendant at Fairfield Inn & Suites Newport Cincinnati in Newport, KY, you’ll help create clean, comfortable spaces for guests visiting Northern Kentucky and downtown Cincinnati.

From fresh linens to the finishing touches, your care will show up in the details. You’ll stay organized, check your work, and communicate when a room or guest need requires attention. You’ll also be part of a housekeeping team that shares priorities and helps one another keep the day moving.

$15.50 - $17 hourly

• Clean and prepare assigned guest rooms and bathrooms according to hotel procedures and Fairfield by Marriott brand standards.

• Make beds, change linens, vacuum, dust, clean surfaces, and replenish approved room and bathroom supplies.

• Check completed rooms carefully and communicate room readiness accurately to housekeeping leadership and the front desk.

• Report maintenance needs, damage, safety concerns, and lost-and-found items promptly through the hotel’s approved process.

• Use approved cleaning products and equipment safely, and keep carts, closets, and supplies clean and organized.

• Respect guest privacy and follow procedures for entering, servicing, and securing guest rooms.

• Respond courteously to guest requests and connect guests with the appropriate teammate when additional help is needed.

• Coordinate daily room priorities and supply needs with housekeeping leadership, and support teammates with public-area or other cleaning assignments as needed.

• Careful attention to cleanliness, room presentation, and guest privacy.

• Organization, time management, and the ability to follow established cleaning routines and room priorities.

• Respectful communication with guests, coworkers, and hotel leaders.

• Dependable follow-through and a willingness to support teammates in a busy hotel environment.

• Openness to feedback and a willingness to learn Fairfield by Marriott standards and the hotel’s cleaning and safety procedures.

• Experience with a variety of cleaning products and techniques.

• Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.

• Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification.

• 1+ years as a professional housekeeper or in a similar position.
