CNC Production Operator - 3rd Shift

Job Description SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a CNC Production Operator for a large, well-known client in Batavia, IL. As a CNC Production Operator, you are responsible for safely and efficiently operating CNC to support continuous production on the 3rd shift. You will focus on monitoring machine performance, performing routine quality checks, and ensuring consistent output. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! Available shifts include: 3rd Shift, 10:00pm-6:30am Monday-Friday Responsibilities of the CNC Production Operator: -Operate assigned CNC machines to maintain steady and efficient production flow-Monitor machine performance, identify basic issues, and escalate concerns to technicians or supervisors when needed.-Perform routine tests to ensure finished products meet specifications.-Follow daily maintenance checklist on the machinery to ensure functionality.-Load and unload parts, ensuring correct orientation and handling.-Maintain accurate production records, including counts, inspection results, and downtime logs.-Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.-Handle materials appropriately and follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality requirements-Communicate effectively with the previous and next shift to ensure smooth handoffs-Support continuous improvement efforts by reporting recurring issues or suggesting process enhancements. Required Qualifications of the CNC Production Operator: -High school diploma or equivalent-Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read and interpret mechanical documents/drawings-Prior manufacturing experience preferred-Excellent verbal and written communication skills-Prior CNC programming/setup experience not required, full training provided-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for long period of time when needed About Surestaff At Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
