Pay: $18.00-$22.50 per hour Job Type: Full-Time Location: 1001 East Delavan Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215 Union Position: Yes Job Summary OSC Manufacturing and Equipment Services is Western New York’s Go-to Dealer for Construction Equipment Solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and/or FluxCore welding as required. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications. Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components. Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements. Operate welding equipment, hand tools, grinders, cutting torches, and related machinery. Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with OSHA and union safety standards. Measure, cut, and fit materials accurately. Work collaboratively with supervisors, foremen, and other tradespeople. Complete assigned work within project schedules and quality expectations. Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous welding experience preferred. Ability to pass welding tests and/or certifications required by the union or employer. Knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and fabrication processes. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing highquality work. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to heat, cold, and noise. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
