Job Details Location: 800 East Walnut Street - North Wales, PA 19454 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $19.00 Hourly Job Shift: Day Position Overview Gwynedd Manufacturing, a growing defense contractor located in North Wales, PA, is a state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility dedicated to producing quality products for the U.S. Department of Defense and various U.S. Federal Law Enforcement Agencies. The Kitchen Assistant supports the kitchen team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient food preparation and service environment. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations, high standards of food presentation, and adherence to food safety guidelines. Responsibilities Assist in setting up service stations prior to meal service. Prepare deli sandwiches and other assigned food items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Break down service stations after meal service, including proper storage of food and equipment. Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and surfaces in accordance with health and safety regulations. Sweep and mop kitchen floors to maintain cleanliness and safety. Follow all kitchen hygiene, safety, and food handling procedures. Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed. Perform additional tasks or duties as assigned by the Kitchen Chef. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations (preferred but not required). Ability to follow directions and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 25 lbs. Gwynedd Manufacturing is an equal opportunity employer.
