Job Title: Part-Time Medical Assistant (Bilingual Required – English/Armenian) Location: Glendale, CA Position Type: Full-Time, Part-Time Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour About Us: We are a primary care practice dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population. A large portion of our patients are Armenian-speaking, and we are seeking a reliable, patient-centered MA to join our team! Position Overview: This role includes both front and back office responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment while delivering excellent patient centered care. Key Responsibilities: Front Office Duties: Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner Schedule appointments and manage provider calendar Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries Verify insurance and collect co-pays Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system Produce and distribute correspondence letters, faxes and forms Complete Prior Authorizations Back Office Duties: Room patients, obtain vital signs and document basic medical history Manage patient flow to ensure timely and efficient care throughout the clinic Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers as needed Perform basic clinical procedures (e.g., injections, EKGs, phlebotomy if trained) Maintain and stock exam rooms Ensure proper sanitation and infection control protocols Carry out other tasks as assigned to support the healthcare team Requirements: Proficiency in English and Armenian (required) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Prior experience in a medical setting (Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required) Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic knowledge of medical terminology Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR systems) preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Preferred Qualifications: Experience in primary care or family medicine Phlebotomy and/or injection experience Familiarity with insurance verification and authorizations What We Offer: Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunity to grow within the practice Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) How to Apply: Please submit your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io with the subject line: Part-Time Medical Assistant Application [Your Name] .
