Job Summary Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) works in inpatient and/or outpatient settings providing a wide range of treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. You will utilize various types of oxygen and other therapeutic gas equipment such as masks, tents, and incubators. The patient population may range from newborn to geriatric. You will educate patients on treatments, support groups, and other available programs. No travel required. No experience required. Responsibilities Deliver and assess responses to ordered therapy per plan of care, including routine and intensive therapy and diagnostic procedures. Measure ventilator volumes, pressures, and blood gas analysis. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and general acceptance of treatment. Perform a variety of duties related to setting up, operating, cleaning, sterilizing, and storing respiratory therapy equipment. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. (NBRC-CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist. Vocational School Graduate.
