About the role

We’re hiring a Senior Content Marketing Manager to own our content strategy end-to-end and lead the next chapter of how Corestack shows up in the market.

Our audience is technical, skeptical, and mostly marketing-phobic. Winning their attention takes content that’s sharp, useful, and genuinely fun to read.

This role reports to the Director of Marketing and acts as a key stakeholder for Demand Generation, Product Marketing and Sales.

What you’ll do:

• Set and own the content strategy across the full funnel, from top of funnel thought leadership to bottom of funnel enablement.

• Build and manage the editorial calendar, while managing freelancers and agency partners with thoughtful stewardship to help scale the work while meeting or surpassing the quality bar.

• Own website content as a core content channel, including AEO/GEO strategy, keywords, and metadata. Keep key pages current, useful, and working hard for the pipeline and treat it as one of the primary places we tell our story.

• Manage the paid media relationship, including ad copy and creative for newsletter placements, social media, and other paid channels, ensuring every placement reflects the brand voice and drives measurable results.

• Write email copy and own content for nurture campaigns, turning long-form pieces into sequences that move prospects through the funnel without sounding like marketing.

• Write and edit flagship pieces yourself, including:

  • Long-form reports

  • Category-defining narratives

  • Press releases

• Ensure content earns traffic, generates pipeline, and gets used by Sales.

• Uphold the brand voice that has a pulse: opinionated, plainspoken, occasionally funny, never fluffy.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in B2B content marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS.

• Demonstrated ownership of a content function, including strategy, budget, and reporting.

• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with samples that prove it.

• Experience with A/B testing and content personalization, using data to sharpen what's working and kill what isn't.

• Naturally curious, with a habit of digging into topics until you actually understand them

• Hands-on experience with analytics and SEO tools like SEMrush and Google Analytics, with the ability to turn data into decisions (not just dashboards).

• Comfort using AI tools thoughtfully as part of the workflow without letting them flatten the voice.

• A strong point of view on what good content looks like, paired with the humility to test with different content types and be wrong.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with the IT/Cloud personas

• Background in journalism or editorial work

• Experience with Webflow

• Video content strategy experience

Compensation, benefits & logistics

Salary Range: $145 - 170k

This salary range represents BetterCloud’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and BetterCloud may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. The final salary for this position will be determined in BetterCloud’s sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee’s work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of BetterCloud’s business and other operational considerations. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed, and earning is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive compensation plan.
