Job Description

Waggaman, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Press Brake / Plate Roll Operator .

Essential Duties:
• Operate press brake and plate roll equipment in accordance with work orders
• Assist the department foreman in meeting production targets
• Maintain established quality standards
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and orderly
• Notify management of any non-conformities and the need for facility or equipment repairs
• Maintain a safe and healthy working environment

Requirements/Skills:
• Previous experience preferred
• Ability to measure quickly and accurately
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Basic computer knowledge
• Good working knowledge of figures and numbers
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently
• Ability to stand and work in a warm environment for extended periods
• Willingness to work available shifts (6:00am – 2:30pm or 3:00pm – 1:30am)

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects over 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, and work on your feet for long periods of time
