Job Description

Join our dynamic Cardiovascular Progressive Care unit, where you will provide comprehensive care for patients recovering from cardiovascular surgeries. The unit specializes in advanced cardiology procedures including open heart surgery, thoracic lung surgery, and vascular surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor patients recovering from cardiovascular surgery.
• Administer medications and oversee patient treatment plans.
• Perform patient assessments and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
• Utilize telemetry and critical care skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide support for overflow medical cardiology patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have stepdown and telemetry experience.
• Prior experience in CV surgery and vascular surgery preferred.
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS.
