Payroll AdministratorLHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator for a temporary opportunity with our client in the West Chester, Ohio area. This position is ideal for a payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of payroll processing, compliance, and employee support. This is a 1st shift temporary assignment offering competitive pay and the opportunity to work with a valued employer.Responsibilities:Process weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly payroll accurately and on timeReview and verify employee timecards, attendance records, and payroll dataMaintain payroll records and employee information within payroll systemsRespond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, taxes, and benefitsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulationsProcess garnishments, tax withholdings, direct deposits, and other payroll adjustmentsReconcile payroll reports and identify discrepancies for correctionPartner with Human Resources and Accounting teams to ensure payroll accuracyAssist with payroll audits and reporting as neededQualifications:Previous payroll administration experience requiredKnowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practicesExperience using payroll software and HRIS systemsStrong Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee informationStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsEffective communication skills and ability to work independentlyBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
