Clinical Dietician

Overview Department: Dietary Schedule: PRN, Variable 8-hour shifts Facility:Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical Center Location:Aurora, IL, 60506 Responsibilities Provides appropriate patient nutritional care. Assesses the nutritional status of patients, formulates a care plan, coordinates its implementation, and evaluates its impact and effectiveness. Provides nutrition education to patients/families. Approves supplements as appropriate and assists in the development of a hospital formulary appropriate to the patient population. Qualifications Registered Dietitian Required (CMS requirement) One year healthcare experience desirable.
