Forward Logistics is an intrastate and interstate motor carrier specializing in Loose Cargo Load (LCL), Full Container Load (FCL), Full Trailer Load (FTL), oversized cargo, and special project cargo delivery. In human words, we move cargo from point A to point B on the road with a truck.

The Customer Service Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for customers by providing timely responses to rate requests, shipment status inquiries, and general service-related questions. This position works closely with Operations, Dispatch, Billing, and other internal departments to ensure customers receive accurate information and exceptional service while supporting daily administrative and reporting functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding transportation rates, shipment status, service availability, and general account information. Prepare and provide accurate freight quotations while ensuring pricing aligns with company guidelines and service capabilities. Coordinate with Operations, Dispatch, Warehouse, and other departments to obtain shipment updates and ensure accurate customer communications. Monitor pending quotations and follow up with customers as appropriate. Enter, update, and maintain customer, pricing, and shipment information in the transportation management system (TMS) and other internal databases. Generate reports using the TMS, Microsoft Excel, and other business applications to support customer requests and internal operations. Maintain accurate records of customer communications, quotations, and service activities. Assist in resolving customer concerns by coordinating with internal teams and following issues through to completion. Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and recommend operational efficiencies. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum one year of experience in trucking / transportation field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Strong ability to multi-task and to prioritize in a fast paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and professional e-mail etiquette. High school graduate required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Bilingual in English and Chinese (Cantonese/ Mandarin) a plus. 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Paid time off Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
