Licensed Civil Engineer

Licensed Civil Engineer (Per Project Role) Bitarchitects is seeking a licensed Civil Engineer (PE) with expertise in land development and site design to support our projects on a contract / per-project basis. This remote opportunity is ideal for a PE licensed in Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia, with proven experience in grading, stormwater management, utilities, and permitting for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead land development design for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Prepare and review site plans, grading, drainage, stormwater management, erosion control, and utility layouts. Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and surveyors to ensure integrated project delivery. Review, sign, and seal engineering drawings and technical reports as a licensed PE. Conduct feasibility studies, due diligence reviews, and occasional site inspections as needed. Requirements: Active PE license in at least one of the following: DC, MD, or VA (multiple licenses preferred). Strong knowledge of civil engineering codes, land development standards, and permitting processes. Proficiency with civil/site engineering software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD). Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain high-quality standards in a remote setting. Excellent technical, organizational, and communication skills.
