To support linguistic projects, the part-time Mandarin Chinese Translator will perform tasks such as categorization, annotation, transcription, and content creation remotely under a commercial contract. Key responsibilities Perform annotation, categorization, and transcription of various content types Engage in conversational interactions and voice recording as required Validate and evaluate audio, video, images, and text for accuracy and quality Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpretation Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese Fluency in English with strong writing and editing skills Solid understanding of linguistic theory and grammar Computer literacy with a minimum of 4GB RAM and necessary audio-visual equipment
