Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate

Location: Chicago, IL
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday with possible overtime opportunities

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior forklift experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a warehouse setting
• Accurately count, organize, and move inventory
• Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification required; proof of certification must be provided
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
• Strong organizational and inventory-counting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior warehouse or forklift experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift and move boxes weighing approximately 50–60 pounds individually
• Some items may exceed 60 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
