Clinical Research Nurse

Job Description\nMedimprove is seeking Contract Clinical Research Nurses (RNs) to support an upcoming clinical pharmacokinetic (PK) study at our Atlanta, Georgia site. We are looking for experienced, dependable nurses who are highly skilled in venipuncture, peripheral IV catheter placement, and repeated time-critical blood draws and who are comfortable working in a structured clinical research environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n·Perform protocol-defined nursing procedures, including vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, and oxygen saturation)\n·Insert and maintain peripheral IV catheters for study-related blood collection\n·Conduct precise, time-critical PK blood collections through a peripheral IV catheter according to the study protocol\n·Accurately label, handle, and document study specimens\n·Maintain complete, accurate, and contemporaneous source documentation\n·Monitor study participants, including adverse event monitoring, and promptly escalate safety concerns to the Principal Investigator\n·Administer study medication according to the protocol and under the direction of the Principal Investigator\n·Follow the study protocol, GCP, HIPAA, and applicable site procedures\n·Work closely with the Principal Investigator and clinical research team\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n·Active, unrestricted Georgia RN license\n·Minimum 2 years of nursing experience\n·Strong venipuncture/phlebotomy and peripheral IV catheter placement skills\n·Current BLS certification\n·Strong attention to detail and documentation\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n·Clinical research experience\n·PK or Phase I study experience\n·Experience with repeated or precisely timed blood draws\n·GCP training\n·ACLS certification\n\nPosition Details\n Schedule\nContract position with intermittent study-day scheduling\nCompensation\n$55-$60/hour, commensurate with clinical research and PK experience\nLocation\nAtlanta, Georgia\n
