This role will employ care and organizational skill to continue to make Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. the most valued provider of permanent home cabinets designed for a lifetime of gracious living. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Proper lifting and stacking techniques. Stacking and handling a variety of components to support the build process of the final product. Ability to interpret basic paperwork, build tickets, etc. Perform quality checks throughout machining process to ensure parts are correct for customer satisfaction. Daily reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor. Comply with all safety and health regulations. Maintain Housekeeping procedures daily in the work area. Learn a variety of wood types depending on the department (Maple, Oak, Cherry, Hickory, MDF, Koto, Plywood, Particleboard, etc.) Tools, Machinery and Equipment: Tape measure Production paperwork, build tickets, etc. Additional Duties and Responsibilities: This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the Offbearer position and it is not intended to be an exhaustive list of skills, efforts, duties, responsibilities or working conditions associated with the position. Must be a self-starter who works well and can follow a list of daily work assignments. Possesses a willingness to learn new ways to enhance productivity. Must have good hand and eye coordination. Required to notify production lead person or Supervisor of a problem or issue. Good interpersonal skills, ability to work well with other employees. Education and Experience High School Diploma, GED, or 1yr of equivalent experience. Demonstrated skills in planning, prioritizing and time management. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and timely completion of tasks. Organization and planning Scope and Impact: Position has recurring work situations that involve having a high attention to detail and service results. It is important that Wellborn Cabinet, Inc.
