Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (RN) - Seattle, WA

This is a 13-week contract position.

5x8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, from 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM.

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Heart & Vascular Clinic team. The RN will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing various electrophysiology procedures and must possess extensive experience in both cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology.

Responsibilities

Perform electrophysiology procedures including arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, and cardioversion.
Assist with pacemaker and defibrillator lead extractions, insertions, and programming of AICDs.
Conduct conduction studies and left atrial appendage (LAA) closures.
Administer medication including antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, and thrombolytics.
Interpret and manage dysrhythmias; obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG.
Engage with patients for education regarding lifestyle modifications and medication adherence.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the team setting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Electrophysiology Lab.
Current RN license in Washington State or a compact license.
Experience in EPIC charting system is required.
