RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (RN) - Seattle, WA

This is a 13-week contract position.

5x8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, from 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM.

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Heart & Vascular Clinic team. The RN will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing various electrophysiology procedures and must possess extensive experience in both cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrophysiology procedures including arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, and cardioversion.
• Assist with pacemaker and defibrillator lead extractions, insertions, and programming of AICDs.
• Conduct conduction studies and left atrial appendage (LAA) closures.
• Administer medication including antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, and thrombolytics.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias; obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG.
• Engage with patients for education regarding lifestyle modifications and medication adherence.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the team setting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Electrophysiology Lab.
• Current RN license in Washington State or a compact license.
• Experience in EPIC charting system is required.
