Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: Must have a valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Patient ratio experience: 5:1 - Charting system experience preferred - Trauma Level I and II experience preferred - Travel experience preferred Description: The role involves providing care in the Emergency Room during night shifts. The position requires working 4 shifts per week. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in an emergency setting. The ability to manage various critical situations, including trauma, is essential. Mandatory certifications include BLS and ACLS, along with PALS and NIH. Experience with charting systems is preferred, particularly with Epic. Candidates must be comfortable working with a diverse patient population, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The facility accommodates both 36 and 48-hour schedules. Orientation and training will be provided at the start of the contract. Nurses may be assigned to float to similar units as required. Weekend shifts are required, with a minimum of 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period. Fieldwork involves managing critical cases, including trauma, stroke, and cardiac emergencies.
