We are currently working with a large educational institution to fill a Senior Integration Engineer position. This organization is undergoing a significant digital transformation initiative focused on modernizing student-facing systems, streamlining enterprise applications, and enhancing the overall user experience through integrated technology platforms

The Position

The Senior Integration Engineer will play a critical role in a major enterprise modernization effort involving Salesforce, Workday, and middleware technologies. This position will be responsible for architecting, developing, and supporting near real-time integrations between enterprise systems that enable seamless experiences for students, employees, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical expert with deep experience across Salesforce, Workday, and Boomi who can quickly contribute to complex integration initiatives and provide technical leadership on integration architecture and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support integrations between Salesforce, Workday, and other enterprise applications.

1. Build scalable, reliable, and secure data integrations using Boomi middleware and Workday integration technologies.
2. Develop and maintain near real-time API integrations supporting critical business applications.
3. Utilize Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Workday integration frameworks to accelerate development and deployment.
4. Collaborate with Salesforce architects and development teams to ensure alignment with platform best practices.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and data synchronization issues across multiple systems.
6. Monitor integration performance, data quality, and operational reliability.
7. Document integration architecture, technical specifications, data mappings, and support procedures.
8. Provide guidance on integration strategies, scalability considerations, and architectural decisions.
9. Partner with internal technology teams and external stakeholders to support enterprise transformation initiatives.

Required Experience

• 7+ years of enterprise integration experience.

1. Hands-on expertise integrating:

• Salesforce

1. Workday
2. Boomi (Dell Boomi / AtomSphere)

• Experience designing and developing REST and SOAP API integrations.

Strong understanding of:

• Enterprise Integration Architecture

1. Middleware Platforms
2. Event-Driven Architectures
3. Data Orchestration Patterns

Experience with:

• Workday Studio

1. Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
2. Workday Integration Frameworks
3. Salesforce APIs
4. Boomi Processes, Connectors, and API Management
5. Proven experience troubleshooting complex cross-platform integrations.
6. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
7. Ability to influence technical teams and contribute to architectural decision-making.
