1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicants Business Function/Department Power Electronics Systems/ Photo-Voltaic Production Sales Territory, if applicable N/A General Role Description Optimize systems and processes in the photo-voltaic (PV) production operation to improve efficiency, productivity, and operational flow across people, materials, information, equipment, and energy. Role Accountabilities - Analyze production processes and workflows and recommend improvements including automation enhancements - Collect and analyze data related to operations, production, and coordination and recommend improvements to system performance via statistical analysis, process simulations, and predictive modeling - Design and implement integrated systems that integrate employees, machines, materials, and information to maximize operational efficiency, including system modeling and capacity planning. Develop strategies for efficient allocation of resources such as labor, materials, and equipment to maximize production and reduce costs - Lead the implementation of quality control measures to ensure products meet specified standards by establishing benchmarks and monitoring systems - Perform cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, and financial planning to ensure that production systems are cost-effective and within budget - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in industrial operations, working to create a safe working environment - Lead projects related to implementing new systems, tools, automation, and processes - Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and improve overall system performance General Employee Accountabilities - Bring full effort to bear on tasks assigned by manager - Give earliest notice when work cannot be delivered as specified - Cooperate and collaborate with peers and interact cross-organizationally as specified by manager - Exemplify Company Core Values{{:}} Integrity, Client Focus, Team Orientation, and Personal Commitment - Comply with all Company policies, practices, and procedures and all regulations and law s- Recommend viable improvements proactivel y- Ensure effective utilization of business tools and processe s s - Bachelor of science in industrial engineering or related field or equivalent via education and/or work experience - 2 years' related work experience in industrial engineerin g- Proficiency in industrial engineering principles, process design, and optimization technique s- Strong data analysis and critical thinking skills, with knowledge of statistical and mathematical modelin g- Familiarity with engineering software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MATLAB, ERP systems {ORACLE}) and simulation tools. Ability to communicate findings, recommendations, and technical details clearly to cross-functional team s- Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contact s- Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skill s- Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibilit y- Proficiency in MS Office program s- Availability for travel, both domestically and internationally, up to 10%, occasionally with short notic e Preferred Qualification s - Master's degree in industrial engineerin g- Lean manufacturing and/or 6S concept s- 5 years' related work experience in industrial engineering with experience in high-volume manufacturing and automation project s- Demonstrated experience in the manufacturing of power electronics or inverter s- Familiarity with solar power systems and battery storage system s- Experience working with production lines involving mechanical/electrical connections, circuit boards, and high voltage switche s- Demonstrated proficiency in implementing Lean manufacturing principles and techniques, such as 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, and Value Stream Mapping, to enhance production processes and minimize wast e- Experience with project management tools, e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asan a- Familiarity with ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems) or ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) standard s Link to TMEIC Corporation Americas website{{:}} To be considered an applicant for any available positions, individuals must complete an online job application for each posting.
