Senior Applied Scientist, AWS Billing

AWS Billing requires a Scientist with a proven track record in time-series based anomaly detection. During the billing process there are many unknown-unknowns and detecting these are vital for ensuring an accurate bill.Key job responsibilitiesYou will work closely with the usage metering and bill computation teams to build anomaly detectors that can find issues in usage and invoices. You will build production models that will be the cornerstone of our efforts to ensure accurate bills.About the teamWe are a small science team that work on high-impact projects in AWS Billing. Our work is foundational for Billing's accuracy goals. We publish our results in top conferences and play an active role in academia. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
