Part Time Regular FTE 70% SUN VALLEY HEALTH CENTER, Sun Valley, CA, US 5 days ago Requisition ID: 5494 Definition: The Registration Clerk I/II perform patient admission and reception functions and serves as back-up to and as a team with the positions of Medical Records Clerk and Clinic Clerk and telephone operator. Reports to: Business Office Manager High school graduate or General Education Development (GED) certificate. Willing and able to work a flexible and sometimes variable schedule to accommodate the needs of the facility. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and reading comprehension. Bilingual in Spanish/English required. Must be able to speak, translate, read and write and must pass a pre-employment Spanish exam and be able to demonstrate fluidity in translating, reading and writing. One year previous experience in a clinical office setting or completion of recent equivalent job training preferred. Must maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor at all times with customers and co-workers. Must be able to be cross trained in all Business Office functions within a year of employment. Must be able to type 35wpm. Ability to utilize a personal computer, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs to include Microsoft Outlook. Current CA Driver’s License, valid vehicle insurance, and an available vehicle required. Some knowledge and understanding of medical terminology, and billing codes preferred.
